Our HAE Boston Investor Series is the perfect place for local entrepreneurs to hear first-hand what the investors in their area are looking for. The series kicks off with Lisa Frusztajer, Lead Investor in Portfolia’s Enterprise Fund and Investor in Residence at The Capital Network. Lisa is an early-stage investor who focuses on information technology ventures. She will discuss her extensive background: a blend of marketing, engineering, project management, technology, manufacturing, higher education, and finance. This series is perfect for alums who want to hear from an early-stage tech investor, get to know the Boston founders community, and grow their local Harvard network. About LISA FRUSZTAJER
Lisa Frusztajer is a lead investor in Portfolia’s Enterprise Fund, Investor in Residence at The Capital Network, and a highly active angel investor in Boston and New York. She led the Enterprise investment in Next Wave Robotics. She is also a Venture Partner with Converge Venture Partners, a seed and early-stage fund focusing on cutting-edge information technology ventures in Boston, New England, and New York City. She started at Portfolia as an investing member in the Rising Tide Fund and moved up to be a lead investor.
Lisa is an alumna of the Pipeline Fellowship, a training fellowship in angel investing. Lisa has navigated all ends of the technology world over the last twenty years, first working at Sun Microsystems, then growing a small software startup called KYOS, and joining Avid Technology, the leading provider of audio and video technology for media organizations and independent professionals.
Lisa has served on a number of non-profit boards, holds an AB from the University of Chicago, an MS from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
