Become a Chapter or Committee Volunteer
Build community. Shape the ecosystem.
Chapter and Committee Volunteers help power HarvardAE - either by supporting local chapter activity or by contributing to global committees.
You might contribute by:
Supporting or helping lead a local HAE chapter
Planning events, meetups, and founder programming
Serving on a global committee (programs, partnerships, community, content, or operations)
Helping strengthen member engagement across regions
Roles are flexible and vary by chapter or committee.
Become a Mentor
Support founders where it counts.
Mentors help founders think clearly and move faster—especially at key inflection points.
Ways to mentor:
Accelerator Lead Mentor: Paired with one company for our 10-week Accelerator (1–2 hrs/week)
Subject Matter Expert: Office Hours in areas like pricing, product-market fit, go-to-market, and fundraising (1–3 hrs/month)
Guest speaker or community moderator
Become a Venture Scout
Help us find the next great Harvard startups.
Venture Scouts surface high-potential, Harvard-affiliated founders and help ensure strong teams get seen.
As a Scout, you’ll:
Submit founder leads
Share context and insight
Work with the HarvardAE team
Build What’s Next—Together
Volunteering with Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs keeps you close to the founders, ideas, and conversations shaping what’s next.
